Creating a stunning gold cut crease with NYX products is a fun and glamorous way to make your eyes pop! Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to achieve a flawless gold cut crease look: Step 1: Prep Your Eyes • Start by applying a NYX Professional Makeup Eyeshadow Base in a neutral or skin-toned shade to prime your eyelids. This will create a smooth canvas, ensuring your eyeshadow lasts longer and the colors pop. • Set the primer with a light dusting of translucent powder or a neutral matte eyeshadow from the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette to prevent creasing. Step 2: Create the Cut Crease Shape • Take a NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Liner (you can choose black or brown depending on the intensity you prefer) and gently trace your crease line using a thin eyeliner brush or pencil. This will serve as your guide for the cut crease. • Begin in the inner corner and follow the natural fold of your eyelid. Aim for a clean, sharp line, extending slightly beyond your natural crease for a more dramatic look. Step 3: Define the Crease • Using a fluffy blending brush, pick up a warm matte brown from the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette (such as the shades “Browns” or “Warm Neutrals”) and softly blend it above the crease line. This creates depth and dimension. Blend upwards so there are no harsh lines between the eyeshadow and the skin. • Use a smaller, more precise brush to apply a deeper brown or burgundy color just along the crease line to add definition. Step 4: Cut the Crease • Now, to create the actual cut crease, take a NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer or the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer (in a shade lighter than your skin tone) and use a flat concealer brush to carve out your eyelid. Start from the inner corner of your eyelid and carefully follow the crease line you created with the eyeliner. • Blend the concealer out toward the inner corner of your eye to create a sharp, clean line for your cut crease. Step 5: Apply the Gold Shadow • For the gold cut crease effect, grab the NYX Foil Play Pigment in a gold shade (like “Golden Goddess”) or the NYX Prismatic Shadows (look for gold-toned shades like “Girl Talk” or “Bedazzled”). • Use a flat eyeshadow brush or your finger to apply the gold pigment onto the cut crease area where you applied the concealer. Pat the pigment in gently to create a metallic, foiled effect. • For extra intensity, you can use a wet brush to apply the gold pigment for a more vibrant, metallic finish. Step 6: Blend and Define • Gently blend the edges where the gold shadow meets the crease colors to ensure there are no harsh lines. Use a soft blending brush with a little bit of the matte brown shade to seamlessly blend the colors together. • If necessary, add a touch of highlight on the brow bone using a soft champagne or nude shade from the NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette to add dimension and lift. Step 7: Line Your Eyes • For an added dramatic touch, apply a thin line of NYX Epic Ink Liner or NYX Matte Liquid Liner along your upper lash line. Wing it out for a more bold look or keep it simple for a more defined effect. • Optional: Apply a little bit of gold liner on the inner corner of your eyes for extra sparkle. The NYX Vivid Brights Liner in gold will work perfectly. Step 8: Mascara and Lashes • Coat your lashes with NYX Worth the Hype Mascara for volume and length. Apply a generous layer for bold lashes. • Optional: Add a pair of false lashes for even more drama. NYX offers a variety of lash styles to complement your look. Step 9: Final Touch • If you’d like to further define your lower lash line, you can add some of the matte brown eyeshadow to the lower lashes using a small pencil brush. And that’s it! I love that these lip drips do not feel sticky, they keep the lips hydrated for hours, and they have a large doe foot applicator for quick and easy application. You can even apply them without needing a mirror for on the go application.

This eyeliner is a precise liquid eye liner pen with a brush tip applicator. It is very pigmented, waterproof and smudge proof. The slender and supple brush tip allows for precise application. Following the contour of your eye draw thin or thick lines by varying pressure and angling of the brush for the desired effect. This really is one of the best liquid eyeliners I have used. It glides on so smoothly and evenly for a lovely subtle look or a classy winged eyeliner look.
